SK is Renewing DigiDocService Web Server Certificate

07.07.2016

Due to the expiration of DigiDocService web service (https://digidocservice.sk.ee) certificate, Sertifitseerimiskeskus (SK) is taking into use a new web server certificate on August 15, 2016 at 23:00. The new service certificate is issued from a different certifier.

The renewal of the certificate regards applications that use DigiDocService web service for authentication, digital signing and/or signature verification. All services with Mobile-ID support are affected.

The certificate chain needs to be checked in applications where DigiDocService certificate is verified against its issuer’s chain. It is important to configure KLASS3-SK2010 (issued on 04.06.2015) certificate and the new root certificate EE Certification Centre Root CA. If your applications verify the web server certificate itself, it is necessary to add the new service certificate.

New digidocservice.sk.ee certificate in PEM format can be downloaded from here.
Its issuer, KLASS3-SK 2010 certificate in PEM format can be downloaded from here.
All SK’s certificates are available here.

Please note that the root certificate Juur-SK will expire on August 26, 2016. Please check that your applications and information systems have been accurately configured and make sure that all necessary changes are implemented in time. This information is important for owners of information systems, as well as users of the web server certificates issued by SK. Detailed information for service providers can be found here.
